Last year we had a pleasure to organize the first meeting of homocysteine enthusiasts held in Poland – Homocysteine Mini-Conference Poznań 2019 (https://hcy2019.syskonf.pl/). Encouraged by valuable contributions of the participants and their willingness to meet again, we decided to organize the 2nd Homocysteine Mini-Conference Poznań 2020.
Like last year, the Homocysteine Mini-Conference Poznań 2020 is aimed at all researchers and medical doctors who are interested in homocysteine, one-carbon and B vitamins metabolism. We hope that the conference will draw attention and gather even more participants and will provide a fertile venue for scientific discussion and exchange of ideas.
Main goals of the meeting are:
1) to bring together people working at academic and research institutions who share common scientific interests,
2) to facilitate exchange of their latest research findings,
3) to discuss emerging ideas and potential collaborations.
The conference is organized by Professor Hieronim Jakubowski group, Department of Biochemistry and Biotechnology, Poznań University of Life Sciences, and will take place at the Biocentrum, PULS, on September 25, 2020. His Magnificence Rector PULS, Professor Krzysztof Szoszkiewicz, will be the Honorary Patron.
We encourage the participants to contribute to the success of the conference by preparing abstracts of their scientific communications to be presented as oral presentations or posters.
Due to the pandemic, we will follow the sanitary regime, e.g. cover our faces, provide hand disinfectants, and follow the social distancing rules.
